Dear readers,
How do I start? Oh, yes...Well, I actually did discover Scotland and I was super ready....
By the way, this blog is not sponsored; I only would like to recommend a few sites.
So, it all started one morning. I wanted to do something during winter break and I was so bored. I knew I've only arrived in Scotland a few months ago, and off course I haven't been everywhere. I thought that I should take advantage of my winter break to travel around Scotland and so I did. I went on a site: https://discoverscotlandtours.com/
I booked a ticket for me on the Jacobite express and was excited...
I went to the address shown to me from the site where the bus will stop and it was early in the morning-the sky was still dark.
Finally, I was inside the bus and was off to go to Loch Lomond. It was a beautiful scenery and the lake was huge, glistening beyond me. But I have to say, my car sick/bus sick ruined everything...So make sure, you drink any vitamins at first because I forgot that...

So now you know what I did in the bus:
- Booked my ticket @ https://discoverscotlandtours.com/
- Hopped on the bus
- The beautiful Loch Lomond

Anyway, we arrived at a small shop at Tyndrum. I walked in and saw a gift shop with loads of shortbread biscuits, stuff animals, and mostly mugs and souvenirs. But I was starving and decided to go to the coffee shop there. We could only stay at the shop for about 5 to 15 minutes since the tour guide said so and I bought a few snacks and went back on the bus before it left me.
The bus passed great high mountains that looked like brown stones, which was at Glencoe and the tour guide said that the place was used as a film scene from few famous movies. I took a couple of pictures around and was so happy with the ones that weren't back lighted. I hopped back on the bus and so the bus continued it's way...

After that, I finally arrived at Mallaig, where the train would be and the tour guide said that there would be about 30-60 minutes before the train arrives at the nearby station. There was a coffee shop and so I decided to buy a few things to bring to the train. After that, I wondered around the station trying to find someone to ask where the train was. No kidding, I was panicking. That's why I recommend you to have a friend from the bus even if it was a stranger because it was very useful for me...Finally, the tour guide came to the train and so the others and I followed into the Jacobite steam train...

The Jacobite steam train was super long and smokey; the view was amazingly beautiful. There were loads of trees, and I could see smoke coming from the train. There were spectacular views of the white mountains across and I must say; there was even a menu of Harry Potter food, like chocolate frogs, and etc. After that, we all went back on the bus and it was all dark that night. The tour guide said that we were all going to go to the haunting Drovers Inn...It was quite terrifying in there, but was out of my comfort zone, which is quite a good thing. Also, there was a bar and coffee shop in there. I ordered some chips & cheese, and went back on the bus...
After, we went back to Glasgow and I went back home safely...ππ
*END OF STORY*
