Dear readers
This trip has been such a great opportunity; travelling to Edinburgh in Scotland is such a dream. Especially all what I did during my one day visit. Hope to go there again soon 💗.
But I guess, I should start from the beginning...
Well, Edinburgh is the capital city of Scotland and it is located near Glasgow, which is also a part of Scotland. So they're like neighbors, precisely. There are about 5 million people living in Scotland and about 500 people live in Edinburgh. WOW!! Bet it blew your minds, eh?
Anyway, I would be honored to show you all the things I did at Edinburgh that time:
I woke up early in the morning to ride an early train-it only took about 1 to 2 hours to go to Edinburgh by train. Once I arrived at Waverly Station, I turned left and ended up on a huge bridge. I didn't know where to go, but was lucky enough to find a Hop On & Off bus near the bus stop in front of me. I paid the ticket and went on the bus with the earphones given to me. I sat on a chair at the top of the bus and placed the earphones on. I could only hear the sounds from the earphones and the world silent.

*PAUSE STORY FIRST*
Alright, so you now know what I did the first time I arrived at Edinburgh. Here's the list:
- Arrive at station
- Went on the Hop On & Off bus
*PLAY STORY*
Finally, there was a bit on the map that showed Edinburgh Castle; and my dream was to be inside a historical, ancient castle. So I hopped off the bus and walked to the castle. I must say, once you see the castle and the bus is about to stop, make sure you hop off it as soon as possible because even if I was at the nearest bus stop, it was still a long way up the hill. When I finally reached the top of the hill, I could see stones combined into a huge, but ancient building and I knew I was at the front of the castle. I walked through the opened gates and saw a ticket booth nearby. Apparently it was for only booked tickets from websites and I just remembered I didn't book any. So I had to wait at the long line for the tickets not online. OH GOSH! Make sure you book your tickets first, guys. After a few minutes, I took pictures around the castle, (worth it!) and finally went in. There was a digital mobile to listen to a virtual tour guide from your given earphones. I think it was also for a booked ticket, so I had to say no. There were different rooms and I must say my favorite was all of them. The best part of the castle was also the 1-hour canon and I must say it was AMAZINGLY HOLLA YES!! Because the canon was huge and I got to take a picture with the honored soldier that blew the canon.

Now you know what I did after I went on the Hop On & Off bus:
- Arrived at the station
- Went on Hop On & Off bus
- Tour at Edinburgh Castle
*PLAY STORY*
After that, I was super hungry. I remembered that my friend once said that there was a Japaneese 5-star restaurant near St. Andrew Square-and I was really in the mood for a Japanesse cuisine, and apparently that restaurant was called Wagamama. I went there by taxi and ate for a while. Since it was before Christmas, there was a Christmas Fayre at St. Andrew Square and it was massive. Lights everywhere, people chattering in groups and pairs, booths and rides, and off course food. I didn't buy any food though, but went on the most thrilling rides. I had a lot of fun there, not lying. Finally, I went back to the station and went home safely...😄😀
*END OF STORY*
